Art + Design Studio 🇨🇦
Commissioned by the team behind Canada’s two-star Michelin chef, this project involved the full branding and visual identity development for Ramen Tabetai, a new ramen bar located in Toronto’s Yorkville district, directly below MSSM Yorkville.
Chairman Ting Studio was responsible for the complete design scope, including the logo, wordmark, packaging, bowl artwork, and a custom mural installation. Building on our previous work — a 70-foot hand-painted mural completed for MSSM Yorkville — we continued our collaboration with the client’s internal brand team and the interior design firm Quintessential.co to ensure a cohesive and immersive dining experience.
The identity system is defined by a limited three-colour palette and bold, graphic linework, establishing a vivid and playful visual tone. The space is further animated by 23 original characters, each designed with its own narrative, contributing to a unique and story-rich brand environment.
