Space Buns digital art collectibles
Chairman Ting and Tangible, two award-winning art and design studios, have collaborated to create a unique NFT project called "Space Buns" on the Ethereum blockchain. The project consists of 3600 one-of-a-kind digital collectibles, each with its own distinctive design and features.
The project aims to go beyond the digital domain, and therefore, physical 3D printed Space Buns were created to accompany the digital collectibles. These physical Space Buns add an additional layer of tangibility to the NFTs, creating a deeper connection between the owner and their digital assets.
The Space Buns collection is a follow-up to the highly successful Genesis collection, Billion Buns. With this new project, they continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with NFTs and demonstrate the potential for art and technology to come together in innovative ways.

The blank Space Bun made out of PLA.
PLA is classified as a 100% bio-sourced plastic: it's made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. Lactic acid, obtained by fermenting sugar or starch, is then transformed into a monomer called lactide. This lactide is then polymerized to produce PLA. PLA is also biodegradable since it can be composted.
