For the relaunch of the adidas Originals store in downtown Vancouver, we were asked to create 5 custom illustrations that paired each unique footwear design to a Vancouver neighborhood.
In addition, we were also asked to hand-paint all 5 adidas Original sneakers to be displayed at the store and raffled out to winners.

“Working with adidas to re-open their Originals store in the city I call home has been an incredible experience. Using adidas Originals as a canvas for my creativity gave me a way to celebrate Vancouver’s unique culture in a way that speaks to this city’s love for streetwear. It’s great to have the newly re-opened store back in the community.
Each shoe is designed with a specific Vancouver community in mind. We’ve got the Superstar representing downtown Vancouver, the Gazelle representing Chinatown as well as three other shoes on display. The lucky winners of the raffle will be strutting around their neighbourhood with a uniquely Vancouver story on their feet.
