Ascend mural for L.D.S.
Ascend is a three-storey mural created in partnership with Learn. Develop. Succeed. (LDS). The project required extensive planning to address multiple surface types, sloping ground, and heavy foot traffic, ultimately leading to a full scaffold installation. To achieve full coverage despite the many windows, high-grade perforated vinyl was used, allowing visibility from inside while keeping the artwork seamless across the façade.
The mural celebrates growth, resilience, and community. A bird lifting a small bear symbolizes mentorship and the power of guidance, while a garden of wildflowers reflects strength and potential. Bumblebees and white bunnies represent students and community members who witness and share in this transformation. Ascend invites reflection on how supportive environments help individuals rise together.
