Beautiful Minds video, which depicts the artistic impression of what the Brain Centre Campaign has done for the community. The UHF has raised over $70M to advance brain care.
For this project assignment, Carson had to freehand the entire wall in one go with markers and without the luxury of erasing mistakes as he used permanent markers during the 16 hour shoot. Without a preconceived visual road map of how the entire illustration was going to unfold, the piece took on a life of its own based on the tv script. Relying heavily on the play from one visual to another, the entire illustration was improvised on set to the hum of a drone hovering behind him and the constant shutter clicks from the time-lapse camera.
